I just transitioned my twins to beds (cribs) last week. Ashton is doing really well with it. I can just lay him down at bed time and he falls right to sleep. He stays alseep all night. I have to wake him up in the morning. Therefore I put him upstairs in his sisters room.

Easton is another story, he wasn't a great sleeper before but he is even worse now. His crib is in our bedroom just for convenence for me. He will sleep about 5 hours, then he will be up every 2 to 3 hours.

They are 7 mo's now. They stayed in bassinet type things until then (Fischer price motion glider).

I was really hoping I could wait until they were both sleeping through the night before I put them into beds but Easton just isn't going to do it. I also had to move Easton to a bed because with his helmet now, he doesn't fit right anymore in the glider. Plus they are a little long for it anyway.

I can't believe they are 7 Months old. I remember waiting for you to give birth. Where does the time go?

We transitioned them to cribs in their nursery (from our bed where they slept with me while DH slept in the guest room) when they were 6 months old. Honestly, I expected the worst and it was surprisingly easy. FOR THEM! For me, I missed them

The swaddle blankets are the best things ever in my house. This video may help you out with them. At about halfway it shows how to use them.

We separated the girls about 1 month ago. They kept waking each other up and no one was getting any sleep. Leah has done very well being in the crib. I still have Jocelyn in the co-sleeper.

Thanks, guys. We decided just to put them head-to-toe in the co-sleeper thinking that would buy us a few more weeks. Nope. So we bought a crib for Ciaran yesterday. We didn't put it up yet. It has been a rough few nights. I slept on the couch, D in a swing, and C in a bouncer. Hey, at least we all got rest! A little, anyway.

Our crib ended up being super easy to set up. Cribs are HUGE! So we put away the co-sleeper and just stuck the crib next to the bed with the babies still together since there's tons of room in the crib.

We used a cosleeper, I can't remember when we started using the crib more.. 4-5mo I would guess. And then they shared the crib until they were two.
