    Default One year!

I know I have been MIA for a while. It's been a crazy few months to be sure. Around the middle of Sept Alaina started refusing to nurse next to Aiden. So I was back to spending nearly an hr every time I nursed them, since it had to be done separately. That's also about the time I started feeding them 3 sold meals a day. It took a while to adjust to their new schedule. And out of the blue they started waking up a few times a night. It made for one tired mommy.

Then it was the holidays, and-- their first birthday!

Now things are starting to settle into a new routine. But we are going to be moving in a month. So that means lots of packing, and an entirely new schedule to come up with..... Fun, fun, fun.

I just wanted to say hi to everyone and share a new picture. I will be trying to play some major catch up on here tomorrow. The new site setup will take some getting used to.

Sounds like you have been one busy momma! Is Alaina back to nursing with her brother? Congrats for making it to a year! I am just finishing up bf my boys, makes me soooo sad!

Are you moving very far? Best of luck packing!

I still nurse them separately. But now they only take about 5 min each. It's def easier now. I don't know how I'll feel when bf is over. Bittersweet I'm sure...

We aren't moving far. Only about 2-3 miles down the road.

Happy Birthday! It is amazing how fast that first year goes. Those two are so cute. I love the picture. Did you make the tutu yourself? I have material to make tutus for my girls, but I have been afraid to try it. I am not at all crafty.

I did. It's very easy... No sewing at all. Just cut the tulle into strips about 2" wide, fold in 1/2 and make a loop knot around a ribbon or elastic.
