Where are our other twin moms?

I have noticed a big drop in participation from a lot of our twin moms that have older twins. Many who were active when I was pg with my twins no longer post at all really. Where did you go? We need good stories from MoMs of preschoolers and elementary-aged kids. Biggrin

I'm afraid the stories I have from the past few months are not all that encouraging to our newer moms of multiples! There's been lots of sickness and even more whining, tons of fights, and the occasional precious moment thrown in there for good measure. One of the twins in particular has been extremely challenging (I'm not naming names!), and some days are a real struggle. I guess we're just in one of the slumps, and hopefully we'll come out of it soon.

They do crack me up on a daily basis of course, and make me smile and love them even more. But unfortunately, at this stage, the majority of the time is pretty frustrating. This too shall pass!

I am here occasionally....mostly lurking! I used to post daily until preg.org started making all sorts of changes....then it just got to be a pain since every time I came, I had a hard time getting in for a while, I just stopped. Many of us are on a FB page, but to be honest, it doesn't get much traffic!

My kids are 6, so I have plenty of stories! LOL!

I lurk too. A lot of the questions/topics are baby related and I feel so far removed from that stage I barely remember what I did to survive lol!!!! Mine are 5 1/2 now so its been a long time since I've had to deal with most of the topics brought up. Or maybe I just blocked those early years out Wink

Some of us have school-aged older kiddos though, so it might be nice to share about those things. Plus, I like to hear what life is like with older twins. Biggrin
