1 for cc

shot indoors, ISO 400 with my 50mm, f/2.0 ss 1/125, large window camera right, about 25ft away. Sharpened for web. I added a B&W mocha preset in LR and adjusted the brightness and contrast to taste. I'd like to think i'm getting better...alot of the images from this session were pretty in sharp. Anyhow...gimmie all the CC you got. Smile

I love this shot! My only CC is that you should raised the ISO a bit and closed the aperture a little more to get the entire face and both eyes if focus.

Also...with a subject who will sit still for you, there is no need to keep the shutter speed at 1/125. With your 50mm lens, a shutter speed of 1/100 would have been fine. If you have a really steady hand, you might even be able to get away with slower.

I've been waiting to see this pic all day! (I can't see photobucket pics at work.)

I agree with wanting the other eye in focus. It's Fabulous!!

I think it's great! I'm not qualified to give great CC, but I do agree with wanting to see both eyes in focus.

Very nice!

I know this is an old thread but I'm still new here and going through the oldest pages a little at a time Smile and I just wanted to say I love this pic!! Was the window really 25 ft away? I would have thought it was closer!
When I did a shoot with my daughter in her bedroom, her main windows were about 6-7 feet away and it felt like they were too far to get enough light! So yours seems amazing to me! Smile

Ditto this. Also I'd like to see her eyes a bit higher in the frame. Can we see it in color?
