1yr Pic for CC Please

Hello, I practiced on a friend of mines 1 year old today and wanted cc on this one. I shot in raw and then attempted editing in elements. I just realized my ss was too slow..I should have this above 1/125 I believe. Oops. I was shooting near a window and without a flash. Any cc is appreciated. Thanks!

Exposure 0.01 sec (1/100)
Aperture f/3.5
Focal Length 40 mm
ISO Speed 200

Pretty good! You already know you should have upped your shutter to get a crisper shot. I would brighten her up a bit more, add a touch more contrast.

She's a cutie.

great job not chopping limbs... especially with her right leg being extended. I'm not digging how the background and floor come together... I think you need some molding to help make the "line" less noticible. I agree that I would brighten her up a bit too.

Totally agree...it just looks "unfinished" right now!

Great job! I don't have any CC to add to what the others have said. She is a cutie!

I think brightening her up is really going to make this one POP! Very nice use of the natural light. Her eyes look AMAZING!

I do agree about the 'line' between the floor and the background. It almost looks photoshoped. But for using what you have, this looks GREAT!

Take care,
GiGi

I think this edit looks GREAT! The difference is subtle, but I think it works. Smile

what a cutie!

the first thing I noticed was the lack of molding ... I thought she was sitting on a table at first. but I think the shot itself is nice. she has catchlights, and the brightened edit works.

The new edit looks much better! Like GiGi said, it's subtle but just what it needed!

I love the edit of this one. In agreement with others about lack of molding, but I think the photo is very nice!
