How far along is she. That belly is just so tiny....hardly seems like maternity.

Sadie! That is what was missing for sure! I could not put my finger on it but the smiling ones are way better and I really like the backrounds, so much better in these 2!

I agree with the CC already given.

It's hard working with people who aren't very outgoing. I think that since she wasn't into smiling much, that it would have been helpful to help her at least relax her body. She just looks too tense for serious shots, unfortunately.

I really like the smiling ones! In the first smiling one, I get the impression like she didn't want to put her hand there....it looks a little "forced"....but in the 2nd smiling one it looks totally genuine/warm

I thought I had already commented on this thread, but must have just read it and closed out. Sorry! I think you did a lovely job. I might have worked to warm up the family a bit more. I agree with the person that said maternity is supposed to be smiling and happy. The first few just look too 'cold' in personality. But, I think your exposure and focus are great! I also have to admit I love the little guy leaning on the wall
