I had a quick play with #2. The colour isn't really bad, its just very underexposed. I opened in ACR and bumped the exposure up, then I did a slight white balance adjustment.

I like #2 a lot, it's just underexposed (I agree the color's good). I personally would also clone/soften out the drool line Smile

I think the best one is #2. The first picture not liking the angle too much. Feels like your boy is going to fall out of the frame. Color is so-so, I would have adjusted the WB to get that background white, not yellow. The 3rd one feels more like a snap. Its cute, but really no interaction with your DS.

#1 is my fav out of the bunch. Not too sure about #3. Guess it's the lack of eye contact. #2 was just underexposed- easily fixed! I like the drool! Wink

I love #2! Andie7a's edit looks great.

#1, I think the tilt is just too much. Maybe try to lessen the tilt in software?
#3 doesn't really do anything for me. Maybe move to the right a bit and get more of his face?

White backgrounds are hard. You are improving. Keep at it.

tilt is definitely too much in the first, and he's not looking at you which makes his expression distracting rather than cute (if that makes sense). the second is definitely the best of the bunch, but as already mentioned, very under exposed. the last one, I just don't feel any connection to him there.
