Mommy goggles on...I totally love these!!! But I'm looking for CC. I know there is a lot of stuff wrong with these. I did a quick edit on each of them. Tried to get the colors working but I gotta go to bed. Maybe I can spend more time on editing them later.Didn't get many more than this. I need to really get out of my shell and get more comfortable with taking different pictures.

I used my 30mm lens on all of these. I LOVE this lens!![]()
f/3.2
ISO-100
SS 1/400
(a bit blown in certain spots but I tried to fix as much as I could)
f/5.6
ISO-100
SS 1/250 (changed settings since the previous one was a bit too bright)
f/5
ISO-100
SS 1/1000 It must have been brighter or something on this side. We were out there around 2pm or so.
Next week we are going to the botanical gardens. I really hope there are still some flowers left. Trees are starting to turn colors here! Once they do we will be going somewhere where I can take pics! Hopefully anyway![]()
thank you for any advice!

Yeah there are some blown bits but look at the blue of the water...... I love the water over in Europe its stunning!
# 1 is my fave for comp although I would de-centre her a bit.
I love the first one. yes, you have some blown bits, but I don't think it matters (you're not getting a poster of it, right?) I just think it's such a fun picture, and she's so pretty. focus looks great too. I think the 3rd is brighter because they're facing the sun more, the sun was at your daughter's back in the other two. looks like you caught a sweet moment.![]()
I agree, the blown areas don't bother me because the rest is so great! I love the water and the spot, and of course, your daughter's smile! On the last one, I wish I could see more of your son's face, but it's a very cute shot, still! And gorgeous horizon!
thanks!!i will work on the centering of the first one. I think I did that because there was something distracting on the lower right side. I was just too lazy to clone it out
I hope to get out there again later on. I didn't have much of an area to take pictures in though. There was this huge thing in the way but there are other spots elsewhere we can go to.
I love the color of the water too!
That is a great spot for pics. Your dd is just beautiful too! The blown spots don't really bother me too much. I think you would have had to be in the water to avoid them! On the second one, I think that I would like to see it pulled back just a little so there was some reference to where she was looking.
how's this? ... she is a bit more towards the middle now. It's the only way to keep the horizon in the pictureshe's still following rule of thirds though.

I'm not bothered by centering. I think what matters is what appeals to YOU, this is your photo, your child. And I like seeing the horizon.
I really would love to go to that spot, just looks so nice!
i love going to spots like these...just listening to the water is very soothing![]()
