    Default 365 Project **Challenge #4** Aug. 1-7

The objective of this challenge/project is to help everyone become more familiar and comfortable with their camera by attempting to use it daily!

I will post a new theme each week starting Saturday and will continue on every Saturday.

Everyone who wish to participate is encouraged to try and take pictures on a daily basis that will emphasize on that week's theme.

Remember this project is a learning experience. Everyone is welcome to give CC as much as possible. Also include your photo settings.

    Have fun everyone!

August 1 - 7 the theme will be: Depth of Field

    According to Wikepedia:

    Depth of Field:
In optics, particularly as relates to film and photography, the depth of field (DOF) is the portion of a scene that appears sharp in the image. Although a lens can precisely focus at only one distance, the decrease in sharpness is gradual on either side of the focused distance, so that within the DOF, the unsharpness is imperceptible under normal viewing conditions.

Yippee! I'm looking forward to this assignment! I'm heading up to the trailer tonight and I'm hoping to get lots of camera time!

How sad am I? I didn't load up any of last week's challenge on here! I like DoF stuff, so let me see what I've got!

I took a ton of photos tonight with this challenge ... but I'm at my parents house and can't upload until tomorrow (and can't wait to see how they turned out!)

This one was an accident. I thought it was kind of funny and definitely applies to the challenge.

There is no composition or thought in this photo other then IS THIS DEPTH OF FIELD?

It's where the forground is sharp and the background fuzzy right?
    Total newbie... I appologize...

If that's the case then what's the difference between Macro and DOF?

Macro as defined from the last challenge is: The subject matter is usually very diminutive object and is meant to make that object appear larger than life.

My mom grows a lot of flowers ... so it was great practice for this (also took pictures out my car window on the drive down to practice too, but those are boring).
