Default 4 Wedding pics for cc

My friend at the last minute asked me to take pictures at her neices wedding. It was a simple country wedding (the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore camofluage shirts!). Here are at few pics. The time or day and the way the sun was right behind the ceremony spot made it hard to get pics. But here are a few of my favorites. What do ya'll think? I know I didn't get catchlights in their eyes. I don't know what I could have done differently to do that.

    f11 1/200 iso-400 55mm

How is my black and white conversion here? I didn't notice the chain wrapped around the tree when taking this pic. If so I would have found another tree!

Good for you for doing this. I've been asked to do a couple of weddings and I've had to turn them down. I think I would just be too stressed out!

Did you use flash in the first photo? Maybe it's the vignette you've used. It just looks very flat. I love the haze and moment you've captured. I would love to have had a photo like this from my wedding. The BW works with this and the chain actually doesn't distract (IMO). With the kind of wedding it looks like this is, what's a little chain? I think it adds attitude The last one looks like, again, the lighting is flat.

I think I notice on all of them a heavy vignette. Nothing wrong with the look if that's what you're going for. Just a bit much for my taste.

You got some great CC already... I did notice a lot of noise in all of these... #2 is my favorite. Wonderful moment you captured.

What a treat for the bride and groom! I'm sure they will cherish these always.

    1. She looks beautiful here. He looks a little ... I don't know ... uncomfortable having his photo taken. Grooms can be that way. Focus and exposure look really nice.

    2. This is a very sweet catch and one I know the couple will always love!

    3. I like your conversion! Have you tied to clone out the chain? It doesn't bother me anywhere but in the space between her legs. This is a really nice composition.

    4. I like this one too. It looks a tad under exposed, but I'd bet you could brighten it up a bit.

I'm sure this was a fun event for you and I just know the bride and groom will be thrilled to have these memories captured.

    Best,

Yes i had to use my flash in the first photo, i didn't have my speed light with me. I forgot it. I don't know if I could have gotten a better result with it. I have never used the vignette until these photos. I will work on not making it so heavy. Thanks!
