5 Year Old (CC Please)

I was able to shoot an almost 5 year old today! Her mom is my friend, and she wanted some "5 finger" shots for her birthday invitations. I took a few more as well, since I just can't leave it at that Wink I'd really love to have some feedback. And be harsh on me too. I feel like I need to take it to the next level, but I'm not sure how.

I think that my color is all over the place. My WB was blue, even on the cloudy setting, so I don't think I made them all the same color. I'm not calibrated, but I probably should do that...

Looks like I should have closed up my AP on this one so I could get her hand in focus. D'oh! Should have thought about that...

Great pics, Steph! She's super cute!

This is super quick since I don't have much time, but overall (and like I always say, not calibrated!) she looks green in the temples. Maybe it's because her hair is so dark, but where it's real wispy at her temples and part, it looks green to me.

Also, I think you can see her undies in the last one!!

Overall they are super cute! I bet mom is gonna love them!!

These are cute! They look pretty green to me, and I think I like the first best (even with OOF hand) and #5. Do you have room to re-crop #3 to get rid of the elbow chop? Really not liking the last one at all (squatting pose, no eye contact, goofy look, and obvious crotch burning...), but still a nice set!

My favorite is the first!

I'm not sure but the skin looks off to me. too green maybe?

I would like to see more than just her standing fully facing the camera. Even a slight turn in either direction would help.

Cute! I also like the 1st one best and agree that the colour seems off (I am undecided between green or yellow - but definitly green at the temples) but then I have had a nightmare trying to calibrate this week, so take what I say with a pinch of salt.

Everyone seems to have covered what I see, I agree that the pose isn't the greatest in #5.

She's a cute little girl and you captured her very well.

Thank you everyone! These were taken very quickly, so I probably should have put myself at an angle to her. I'm a little notorious for not doing that Wink

Thank you for the comments on the color. I'll have to go back and see what I can do about the green. I'm such a horrible editor. But on the last one, I didn't do anything to the crotch. I wonder why it looks like I did some burning?
