about thisclose to just converting this shot to b&w- 1 for CC

I cannot figure out what's bothering me about this photo. I know there's the hand/fingers chop, but I feel like something is just off. Sully had more light on him than Ryken, which is a huge issue I think.

Thoughts?

I'm at work and grossly not calibrated, but they seem a bit on the magenta side to me. Hopefully someone who is calibrated can chime in and let you know for sure.

But boy, is this a CUTE SHOT!!! Your boys always look so happy! I love the light in their eyes - it makes their whole faces just light up.

I do admit though ... while I understanding wanting to get the skin tones right, I think this would make a GREAT b&w shot. Blum 3

I know. I'm no help.

It's adorable, for sure!!! I agree the older boy is shadowed. You could just brighten him a tad.

Thanks ladies. I love this picture regardless, but I'm just trying to get better at editing color photos. I'm thinking of converting this to b&w doing something similar to THIS with it Smile

I think I would like it better in B&W with the pattern behind them. I think it's an adorable shot. I agree, your boys always look SO happy!
