    Default ACR Question

Is there an eraser in ACR? For example, I want to just tone down the color in a certain part of the picture without toning down that color in the skin. Any way I can do that separately? Or is that something I just have to do in PS? thanks!

you can change individual parts of the photo by using the adjustment brush. It's towards the right hand side of the tool bar in ACR. you paint the part you want to change, then adjust the settings. I think there is a setting for saturation, but I'm not totally sure.

well i've tried using the adjustment brush but my reds are still blown if I go over to the Hue, Saturation and Luminance tabs I tone down that red to a nice, not so blown color, but then her skin looks all funky. I was just trying to see if I could get back her skin tone in ACR and not in PS. Hmmm.... i hope i'm making sense.

ugh! I quit i'm just going to make it black and white. the reds are blown and it's super easy to fix it with a bit of color adjusting in ACR. But then the skin looks all weird. I wish I could use an eraser and erase back the skin in acr. I'll just have to do it the slow way in PS I suppose. Adjustment brush is not really working since there is hair in the way on the shirt. It would take way too long to do each strand of hair lol oh well!
