    Default Amber - noiseware

Amber didn't you mention some free software that you use for the noise? What was that again?

I wonder in general how much noise can be "fixed"?

I'm not Amber, but I downloaded the free version of Neat Image and was pretty happy with it. Easy to use, and seems to work pretty well. I have a few 8 x10s on their way here from Mpix that I used it on, so I can tell you how they print in a few days.

thanks please do, I've always opted for no pic if my lighting is too low but am hoping to get some decent xmas tree with Evan shots and I know I'm going to have to increase my iso above where I like it and it scares me haha

there's a free community edition of Noiseware that works very well. you just can't to batch files and there's no plug in. but it has a lot of options which makes it flexible. I like it but I haven't tried Neat Image.
