Ok so I bought the lens that was recommended to me and a HUGE thank you, I love it and it does take some beautiful shots I'm sure they'll be more beautiful as I learn the ropes of my camera, lol I also bought the "For Dummies" book on my camera, it's written in easy to understand language and is starting to sink in.
Now I Know someone recommended the Canon Speedlite 430EX II but unfortunately it's about $400 before taxes here in Canada, and I just can't swing it what are your thoughts on the Canon Speedlite Flash (270EX) , it's on sale for $169 ($30 off) so if it's worth it, I'll jump on it (poor poor visa)
My concern would be that it looks like it doesn't rotate. The best thing about a speedlite is that you can bounce it off the ceiling and behind you. If you can't do that, it isn't much better than the on board flash.
ok I found this on the 270EX it tilts but does not swivel, maybe I'd be better off saving up for a bit and getting the 430, I'd be getting it eventually anyway. hmmm maybe I can rack up some overtime here
OK I ordered it lol, I just couldn't pass up that price. NOW THAT"S IT lol
ETA: Wow, thanks for posting that, It looks like it's now sold out, I'm glad I jumped on it, they provided me with a tracking number and I see it's in Brampton now, hopefully I'll get it today or tomorrow Now I can get down to business and start posting for CC
