    Default another plexi question

    what kind/thickness?
I've see a ton in my local hardware store but there's so much variety. Then I realized I just ordered something similar for my table top but it's more glass than thinner plexi so if I called the place where I got that I don't know what to ask for

I bought the thinner plexiglass ... and cracked it. So I recently bought the thicker acrylic stuff (it's about 1/4" thick) and I think that it shouldn't crack (as long as my kids don't jump on it).

Stacey - your link took me to an image I can't view. Strange.

Maybe because it's my local Home Depot store.

newbie question: do you put the plexiglass/acrylic board overtop fabric on the floor, so it's not see-through but still reflects the subjects?

I think that is what you do (newbie here too!). I really like the cake smash pictures with it. I may have to invest in some plexiglass for when the girls turn 1!

it's the white board stuff that's used in stand up showers, I think. it's pretty glossy and big.

I just looked at Menards for tileboard and it was only around $10-$15 per 4x8 sheet! I am thinking about getting some, but didnt have room in the vehicle I was in.
