Another from the senior session - Edit/SOOC again

I hope I'm not annoying you guys Smile I'm having a heck of a time with these!

Any insight, advice, plays, HHCC...? I'm all ears! The weather was so gray and misty - I hate that! And dummy me didn't bring a gray card!

I do agree it can be warmed up still, but that's some great focus and bokeh! Well done!

Her skin looks really bright. I think it's blown SOOC.

Not according to my numbers El. She is very fair skinned, so I had to keep my exposure down a pinch - but it isn't blown.

Warmer? Really? LOL I think I always err on the cool side - especially with these images...I feel like her skin get "wonky" when I warm it up more. Yep, I'm calibrated. Just redid it last night too.

Does it annoy anyone that the bushes are going right through her head? It annoys me!!! Smile

Thanks for the input everyone! Keep 'em coming!

They don't appear blown to me at all, in fact they look less contrasty than some. I think the shrubbery is fine!

I don't think her face looks blown, but the color doesn't look right either. It looks almost grey. The lighting seems a bit flat too - makes the whole pic seem kinda washed out. I'm not digging her expression either. She looks like she's trying not to cry.

The bokeh is beautiful, though. The shrubbery doesn't bother me at all.

Hmmm... Must be my screen. I think apple tends to be on the bright side. I was not able to check your numbers Smile

The bush is a bit distracting - you can clone to the top so that you have one consistent color for a background.

the bush doesn't bother me, but it looks like it might be a fairly straight forward clone if you wanna give it a go.

I think you are being pretty hard on yourself. Your edits are looking pretty good to me (even here at work where things look perpetually yellow). She's a lovely young lady and you've got some fun shots! Smile

Again, you got spot on focus. But, I'm not thrilled with the comp on this one. It's too centered for my taste. Her skin does look on the bright side (to me) and could use some warming.
