Thread: Anyone wanna play?

This is one of the few pics I have of my oldest DD actually looking at the camera and not having some cheesy grin. It was one of my first shots (like first 3) and I had to up the exposure quite a bit in acr. I've done some basic editing, but I'd love to see what some of you can do! The comp is not great, nor is anything else, but I'm just hoping to make it a bit better, kwim?

Levels, pulled right triangle (highlights) towards the middle until it touched the black line in the histogram. Brightened the midtones a touch as well. Used NeatImage to get rid of the noise. Did a color balance layer to add red. Did an overlay layer at about 8%. Sharpen for web. Ta-da.

Thanks Ladies! I like different things about all three of them. After the girls go to bed I'll have another play myself now that I have more ideas. I'm not sure if I'm doing the layers thing right, but I have a book so I'll check that out or look for tutorials online- ie homework!
