Thread: B & A for CC

Since the weather has been supremely crappy and icy here, I just grabbed an old pic I took in December and played around with it... It's my little guy and his "cheese" face, which my MIL taught him haha!
Any CC is definitely appreciated! Thanks, ladies!

Beautiful, and I LOVE your edit (although I loved seeing more of the tree in the BG in the 1st one)! Way to go!!! That bokeh is just yummy. And I don't usually like that phrase, lol. The colors look so sunny & lovely.

I like your crop. Makes excellent use of the ROT. I can't comment on color b/c I'm stuck at work right now, but focus and exposure in your edit look really nice.

I bought the Erin Cobb Clean Color tutorial (for elements) the other night. It was definitely worth the money for someone like me (someone who's just starting out). I used her work flow to edit this pic...now I want to go back through every pic I've ever touched in photoshop!

Do you think it'd be better if I cropped it the other way, meaning with him on the left side of the frame?

Great job on this. Very Cute. I was wondering did your on board flash fire? Wish I could see some catchlights in his beautiful eyes. The tree is a little distracting in the background, even though you have great bokeh - don't like the branches growing out of his head.

I agree, I wish I had placed him differently! I never think of these things in the moment...I'm too busy trying to get the camera right. Definitely something to work on!

I'm not sure if the flash fired...I never think to use flash outside!

He's such a little stinker, he seriously says "cheese!" every time he sees a camera. In our video from Christmas morning he said "wow!" when he first saw the presents, then he immediately went for my camera and said "do cheese! do cheese!" Hahaha!

Erin! Hey girlfriend! Look at Easton, he's so grown up looking! I like the edit, the bokeh is great too! The only thing I like better about the SOOC is the shade of his red sweater, it seems more rich and full of texture. The pp color is a little too red. But man, what a cutie! Good job!

Really cute! it's great he loves his picture taken! it doesn't last long so enjoy it while you can! And I love the bokeh as well! The tree doesn't bother me actually. I agree his sweater is a bit bright now. Also, it does look like the flash fired. (pin lights, shiny on the tip of his nose) It's not bad though
