So I made it safely to Colorado and I finally got internet again. Oh I have felt blind without it! I have two practice shoots here already. One of them is a wedding!!! My friend is getting married and I told her I'd love to practice photographing her wedding and I told her not to expect professional results or anything like that. She's a very simply gal and I'm sure she'll love whatever I come up with. And I'm gonna try my best! I have realized that I am lacking some stuff to help me a bit but I can worry about that later. And I also have a girl on FB that I went to school with contact me about getting some pictures taken of her and her girls. She said she was diagnosed with lupus so my idea was to just go to their home and get some shots of them doing their own thing in their home. Not really portrait, sit down in front of camera type shots. Maybe a couple of those. I am excited but nervous!!! I hope I do well. Since it is free, what I was going to do is edit a few and send her a CD with those images so she can print them herself. Or do you think I should go ahead and set something up somewhere? WHCC? How long does that take?
Anyway, I don't have time at the moment to reply to all the threads from the past couple of weeks. I've been so busy! I have been slowly editing a few shots from Paris and London. I can't wait to share. It still might be awhile though. I have so much to do still!
I do have a few questions but I will ask those in another thread. It's good to be back online!
Loida, did you move back for good, or is this just a visit with your family?
Can't wait to see those vacay pics! The one from London was an amazing teaser!!
My "babies" are Abigail (6/06) and Caleb (1/08 )
Welcome home! Even if it is just for a visit this time!
It's good to have you posting and you seem so happy to be home! Enjoy your time (& post lots of pictures)!
Glad you're able to visit! Sounds like you've got some great opportunities coming up, and I can't wait to see.
