I'm back!!! No pics yet. I took well over 2000 pictures. I am guessing a total of about 5000 between the 3 cameras that we had. EEk! We had such a great time!!!!! I mostly took my pictures in auto mode simply because we were too excited and in too much of a hurry most of the time so I didn't really feel like adjusting manual settings and all of a sudden come back with really underexposed or overexposed pictures. So auto mode it was! it was worth it! I got a lot of nice shots that I seriously can't wait to sit down and edit and post. The only times I did take RAW pictures in Manual mode was when we went out at night after the kids went to bed. My parents would stay behind to rest up and take care of my kids while they slept. We'd stay out til 1-2 in the morning! I'm glad my husband didn't mind waiting for me to take pics. I only got night shots of Tower Bridge in London. In Paris I got a couple of night shots of the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dam Cathedral and a few night shots of the Louvre but we were 1 minute too late and they shut the lights off but I took a few shots anyway. I'm so glad I took my tripod with me! Anyway I seriously can NOT wait to share my pics. But I have some cleaning to do here around the house and tomorrow evening we are leaving to go on a mini cruise to Copenhagen. yay! I have a mountain of laundry! but here is one picture for now.
by the way, remember me mentioning getting a stranger to babysit my kids while we went to Phantom of the Opera in London? Well let me tell you something...the babysitter was amazing!!!! completely professional. She was really nice too. My kids loved her from the start! It was weird! Mikael didn't even cry after I left the room and he usually does. He has bad separation anxiety but somehow with her he didn't even cry once! And by the time we got back to the hotel (well over 11pm) the kids had been asleep since around 9pm. Wow!! So I totally recommend going through sitters.co.uk if you are ever in London needing a babysitter. the babysitter was just amazing. Jeanette was asking for her a few days after too! lol
How amazing! I'm glad you guys had a blast and I can't wait to see more, because that one you posted is awesome. I can't imagine the things you got to see, so jealous
Also, really glad the sitter worked out. What a relief! How was the Phantom of the Opera?
And a mini cruise after coming back from a vaca like that? Hope you have a great time. The laundry will be waiting for you when you get home
Can't wait to see more!

I was very surprised at the babysitter and very thankful. I don't know how many times I told her how awesome she was. lol
and Phantom of the Opera was amazing!!!!! our seats were awesome! And they have those little binoculars for 5 pounds in front of you but one was broken so we got to see them up close. It was nice. And I met the actor and actress that play Raul and Christine. No Phantom though. He had left just 10 minutes earlier. bummer but it was a lot of fun. I got the chills so many times watching the show. lol! I am totally in love with Phantom of the Opera.
I am LOVING your Tower Bridge photo, that's awesome! Can't wait to see more pictures. And I'm so glad the babysitter worked out well. Very cool on Phantom too!
