Default Before I keep going (JMK 4 CC)

Before I continue, how is my PP? I always do this, I pp to what I like in a photo, then I look at the pic and think, is that right? I am always doubting myself! I seem to like really cool images and I always worry if I am making them too cool...
Anyway, I got my big girl panties on and I am ready for some CC. And feel free to CC everything, not just the PP of course.

Settings - ISO 800 (yikes I know, poorly lit bathroom), f1.8, ss 1/125 for all
    (mommy goggles?)

And this is my first time using Flickr! I have been using photobucket, but I want to see if the image quality was any better with Flickr - so far, so good

She's so cute! I like the conversion in #1....the last two pics seem to have a lavender/purple cast to me.

    here's my $0.02 worth ...

    1. your conversion looks really good! I love seeing the soap bubbles in her hair and those eye lashes are to DIE for. mind sharing your conversion process? I REALLY like the effect you've achieved.

    2. Love the eye contact here, but wish the fingers hadn't been chopped off. this is probably my favorite of the set so far. Those blue eyes really sparkle. And for a poorly lit bathroom, you got great catchlights.

    3. this is really cute as well, but the color looks a bit off to me. Her eyes look dull and very red underneath and she just seems a bit on the cool side. Composition also isn't the most flattering as she's quite centered and you've got a lot of 'empty' space on the right of the frame. You might try a portrait crop here. this could help with the shadow behind her as well.

    TFS!

I kinda want to see all three photos converted, as I like your conversion in the first. she does have sweet eyes. I'm also seeing the off WB here - did you shoot in RAW? If so, what are you using for your WB point? I always struggle with WB in the bathroom ... I actually try to set a custom WB using the tub itself (ours is white) when I'm doing a bunch of tub shots of my kids.

No speedlight - on my wish list tho for sure. Just using the crappy light in the bathroom.

Well, my conversion was actually done with a Coffee shop action. The creamy chocolate conversion action. I am terrible at conversions myself LOL!

I know, I am so terrible at getting color and skin tone right! I really need to educate myself a little more on skin tone and curves.

Gwen - Our tub is sort of an off-white, almond color, so I tried using the whites of Kam's eyes as the WB point, but it looked terrible. I decided to use the bubbles in the tub instead, which was not the best idea haha! I was actually thinking of doing what you suggested and convert them all. I thought that might be cheating since I would just be getting out of correcting the color. And yes, thank goodness they are all in RAW.
    Thanks for the replies ladies!

And just for fun, here is on SOOC (they all look like this from the bathroom light)
