Is Best Buy okay to order from?

Best Buy has no interest if paid in full before 3 years. I'm seriously debating getting a 24-70mm 2.8 earlier than Christmas, but am not sure if just any site is okay to order from. Thoughts?

Sounds good to me if they have a good price on it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from such a well-known electronics place as they are.

I wouldn't hesistate from buying anything from Best Buy. My only thing is you could probably find a better price somewhere else. But the 3 years no interest is a pretty good deal these days!

I agree. A big name store with a good reputation like them should be perfectly ok to order from esp if you've shopped around and compared prices. At least there's a sense of security when dealing with the big stores, kwim? Who knows, they might even do a price match for you if you find it somewhere cheaper.

I buy from Best Buy a lot, online and at the stores. They are great.
Only had a problem once when I bought the wrong camcorder, it didnt come with a remote, so I took it back to exchange and they wanted to charge me restocking fee, which was a lot $, I think 10%, I didnt even use it and I took it back the same day. After a huge fight they did not charge me that fee. Not sure if other stores have the restocking fee, I never had to return or exchange other items.

Thanks! I actually want to order the 5dm2, the no interest is just to good to pass up, makes the hefty price tag easier to handle.

That is where I got my camera on Black Friday so it was a good price. Granted it was in store, but I would order from them.

One of my best friends works at Best Buy and has nothing but positive things to say about it. Many of the things they sell are at-cost (ie, best buy makes no profit from it). I'll ask him about cameras specifically and see what he says

I got a credit card from there and paid 1/2 of my camera, and put the other half on the card. It wasn't as good as a deal as you are getting, but it was sooooooo worth it! I was going to go for the cheaper camera, but Randall said, just go for it! I think you should too! I don't have anything bad to say about them either. I went in Friday to get the 50 mm lens, but they didn't have it there, but I was willing to order it from them later. That was....until I found a store nearby that had it too. I wanted it then! Wink
