    Default Birthday pictures

I wanted some cute pics of my baby in her birthday tutu! I really don't like the dark background (I hate black backgrounds) but it was all I had (my table cloth ). I really need to get some seamless or something else LOL. First pic is SOOC so you can see my janky little setup. Did I get anything right? What would have made these better?
(ugh, they are looking over sharpened to me now, but when I run them through noiseware it makes her skin look all plasticy)
    (feel free to play)

I think the shots you are looking for would work out better without a chair, or with something a little more classic. If possible, I would also try to lose the stuffed toy and teether. This is from my little one's 9 mo shoot, so a little different. I gave her the sunglasses to play with and keep her busy.

Also noticed some spots that could be cleaned up where the light shines through the backdrop! You have such a cutie there, I would play with the set up again and see where it goes.

ETA: I use fleece for all my backdrops. Dreaming of seamless and a stand!

WHAT A CUTIE!!!!! The tutu is adorable, as are those leggings! And actually, though it may not be your favorite, the colors go really well w/ the black background.

If it is possible, I would move her slightly further away from the backdrop. The separation will allow you to doctor the black background if needed (like the sun spots in #2).

Of these 2, #1 is my favorite. You caught such a sweet expression and her eyes are just shining.

In #2, the head chop really bothers me. I suspect that is because it's just that tiny little bit off the top of her head. The fact that she's centered in the frame may exaggerate that effect as well.

Gosh she's a doll though! I like I said, I really like the first shot. I'd hang it on my wall.

    Best,

Thanks for the CC! I did finally get the teether away from her, but she was not happy LOL! I knew the thin table cloth would have some sun spots. I have a nifty little PVC stand, but I think I need to get some fleece or something and try again. But I have been looking and for the price of a decent size peice of fleece or even a good blanket, seamless isn't that much more money and probably well worth the extra...that's what I am telling myself anyway LOL.
I am not really loving the chair either, it's not even a nice antique looking chair, but if I just set her down on the floor, she takes off crawling. The only time she ever sits still is when she is sitting in a chair LOL.

    Thanks!!
I am really wanting to get one of these printed in an 8x10 to hang. The second one is so centered, but it was the only way I could crop to 8x10 and I hated that I chopped her head. Maybe I will look and see what other size options I have for printing besides the 8x10, so I can recrop...
My mom doesn't like #1 because she isn't smiling so she wants one of her smiling to hang on her wall.

Look at those gorgeous blue eyes! I also would like to see some shots without the chair so that the tutu looks more puffy and frilly. I like the pose best in #2 and the facial expression in #3. I think I'd also like to see a few more closeups or head and shoulder shots to really bring out those gorgeous eyes and hair.
