Every shoot is a learning experience. You can let it get you down, or you can learn from your mistakes and keep practicing! No one starts off taking pictures like a rockstar...I'm guessing you're being too hard on yourself, but it would be great to post a few of the shots plus your settings and some of us can help you out.

I agree. The more your practice, the better you'll feel. Even if you just get ONE fantastic image out of a whole shoot, then you are doing okay.

I crap out on every-single-shoot I do! There is always something I forget, mess up on, or just plain screw up. You can't get comfortable without practice and that comfort is what helps you to keep your thoughts together.

Just keep at it and you'll feel better each time

I agree, it is a learning experience. The more you practice, the better you'll be at your next session then the next and then the next. I mess up all the time

LOL this is so me! I go into something totally prepared and then my brain totally craps out on me and I can't even make sense of the things I jotted down to remind myself!!

Keep at it! Practice makes perfect!!
