c/c the coloring

I did another newborn shoot for a friend of mine. My second one. I'm really proud of the way they turned out and the mom loves them. However, there are some that she would like in color (I'd prefer b/w or sepia, but to each their own). When I look at these pictures I feel like the coloring is off. What do you ladies think? Any other CC on them is also appreciated. Thanks

As for coloring, I can't offer any advice....I suck at colors sorry. #3 is my fav.

I wanted to share my top favs from the shoot as well because I'm really proud of the way they turned out. CC these as well if you like. The above ones I know she wants in color though, but she wants others as well. It's always interesting to see which ones they choose compared to the ones the photographer likes.

Here are some of my favs from the shoot:

Oh, LOVE #3 on your second post of pics. Wow! I think the b&w ones are the best too!

Thank you! I have a hard time seeing color issues for some reason. I know when it's not right, but I never know what to change. Going to go work on them now.

Uncalibrated monitor here. But I think I am still seeing a lot of magenta on the baby.

Ok, how about this one for the first pic:

I used 'Selective Color' instead of 'Color Balance' this time.

I like the last one much better! I didn't see the color issues in the first ones until you posted this last one!

I am useless with colour and am uncalibrated. I find baby skintones hard work and tend to go down the B&W route, lol!

Agreed! Thanks for posting sharing your lovely pictures. My sister has been having contractions over the course of the day and I'll get the chance to take some shots soon after.

You did awesome!
