Just wanted to say I have been following your blog/journey and wanted to say you are an incredibly strong and brave woman.
Hugs & strong healthy vibes beaming to your from Australia!
xx
Thank you, Cazz!
And everybody else here...I have loved lurking and trying to learn when I haven't had the energy to pick up my own camera.
After I heal from this surgery I hope to have more time with my camera...and hopefully a new lens to play with, too!
I hadn't seen your blog at all and didn't know anything about your story -- I'm so glad Cazz posted about it so I'd know. Wow, I'm so sorry for all you're going through! I love reading about your faith and your family! Thank God that He is our strength when we're at our weakest -- though that's a concept most of us don't understand nearly as well as you do now. My husband and I will be praying for you and your recovery, physically and emotionally. (((((HUGS)))))

Sending lots of healing vibes your way (& lots of prayers too)! I hope you do get a new lens to play with - there is nothing like new glass to revive the camera bug.
Take care,

I didn't notice your blog either, but I will look at it when I get home. Wordpress is blocked here.I enjoy reading other blogs.
I have a chronic but non-life threatening disease, which I get treatment for on a regular basis, helping me to live a mostly normal life. I know what it's like to go through a life changing illness and the strength and support it takes to get through it.
You seem to have a lot of love coming in from many areas in your life and I find that absolutely wonderful. You also have a lot of strength and courage. I would like to send positive thoughts to you and hope that you have a full recovery.

Candace,
I'm glad Cazz posted this as well. Thank you for sharing your blog link.
I wish you a smooth journey through treatment and beyond. You might not know it, but I'm a 4.5 year survivor of stage IV Hodgkin's lymphoma. I went through six months of chemo when my son was 10 months old and have been in remission ever since. I feel very blessed.![]()

That's wonderful! My BIL had stage IV Hodgkin's when his son was about that age too, and is doing well now, and my DH is a survivor of stage IV non-Hodgkin's lymphoma also. There are so many great survivor stories out there to give people hope... and we trust you will have another great story to tell about your cancer experience, Candace!

That's awesome! I LOVE hearing survivor stories! And yes, I enjoyed reading your blog yesterday, Candace. You are a survivor, and I look forward to reading more good news from you!

Oh, I noticed one other thing in one of your blog photos, Candace. IMO, there is "good bald" (e.g., Captain Picard) and "bad bald." You're definitely in the former category! I, sadly, was in the latter....
