    ha ha! just kidding! no cc needed here. just thought I would share this! This is a monarch butterfly caterpillar. I find them every year for my classroom. This is BY FAR the littlest one ive ever seen!

    That thing is teeny!

    How cool though. We are about a month away from the monarch festival here and they are all over the place. I remember taking pics with my p&s last year about this time. Speaking of...I am just at my 1 year mark here on the board. I think I may have to go off and loof for kicks!

    Okay, checked...my first post here was 10/03/08...so I have a couple months to improve.

    I would love to see what you come up with! I really need to invest in a macro lens! Hmmm... off to check ebay! anyone have recommendations for a good Nikon macro lens?
