Sorry been MIA on the cc group. Will come back to CC tonight!
Been MIA here too. Forgive me ladies. Work, school, youth, and life is a bit busy and tough right now!
Steph- I adore your lipstick photos. That last one of Jackson is perfect. I love the moment you captured!
Tracy- #1- Yes, you did cut him off at the knees and I think the reason that throws it off is b/c of the reflection of the sky on the water. However, this is a gorgeous location. I just wish I could see what he was standing on.
#2- I love this one. I don't see the OOF, but I still love it.
#3- this one doesn't do much to me. It looks like a cookie cutter and I Just get confused as to why it's outside. Might be silly of me though. Some amazing bokeh though!
#4- amazing shot! This is sooooo gorgeous!
Really sweet, Amy! Nice light and nice smile. I feel like the colour may be just a touch off, but lately I seem even worse at colour than I used to be, so I don't really know.

Ya for an Eva pic!She is too cute! Great light in her eyes! I think she's a tad bit cool though. I also think it might be oversharpened or noisy, not quite sure. This is truly a great pic though. That smile is perfect!
Oh, what a sweet smile!! Great light in the eyes, though it's a bit flat. That's not a dealbreaker though. Now, I'm trying to adjust my eyes, since I just calibrated and everything looks all weird to me now, but I do agree that it looks like she could be warmed up a bit. I'm noticing that there seems to be a bit too much contrast. Or maybe too much saturation. UGH! I hope my eyes adjust soon...
Amy - great photo of Eva. Love her expression here. I agree she is looking cool. Here face seems to be very bright. I would tone down the contrast and brightness and warm her up.
Tracy -
#1 - I agree about the jacket being too bulky. I know that you don't always have to follow the rule of thirds but I think it would be good to consider when you take pictures. It makes the image much stronger.
#2 - At such a low SS - where you using a tripod or was this held by hand. I think that is why the shot on the water drop is a bit blurry probably due to some hand shake.
#3 - This is a nice picture. I might just crop that one dark grass that is on the heart.
#4 - I don't know anything about landscaping but this is a great reflection.
Stephanie - definitely enjoy smiley faces. I don't particularly like the bunched up blanket (not sure why, lol). I think there are some bright spots on his face - his nose and some on his cheeks but not too bad. You can clone a bit at a low opacity - so it doesn't look as flashy (?)
Love the kisses shot. Not sure if he is looking a bit too bright.
I am just guess-timating - but it looks like most of his face is falling in the middle-top of the rule of thirds --- thought I'd check. When I do the rule of thirds I try to get both eyes or one eye on the top third or bottom third... hope this is a bit clearer![]()

Sorry I disappeared again. My eldest is having serious anxiety with starting school.
Steph, beautiful! I agree with Tracy about the light on his pupil. Also, the bunched up blanket behind him is a bit distracting.
Tracy, I don't really have any new CC. I did want to say that I really like the shot of the water droplet and the landscape works for me. As far as 'portraits' go, I rarely get the kids to pose. I want to learn to be good enough and quick enough to catch moments that really define them
Amy, I think this is really sweet. She does look a little cool to me.
