    Default CC please - My first attempt at HDR photography

    So looking for something new to learn, I thought I would try my hand at HDR (high dynamic range) photography. My Dad loves artistic prints of historic buildings so he inspired my subject for this photo. Camera was set to bracket 3 photos 2 stops apart. All 3 were hand held 12mm ISO100 and F11 (shutter speed differed to get the under-correct-over exposure). Anyway, here is what I came up with...





    And here are the 3 SOOC...






    I am hoping to try this with some long exposures at the beach just as dawn starts to color the night sky... I can see it getting addicting!

    Ooh I really like it!! aside from the heavy glow around the top & trees but I know that that is usually part of the whole effect. I really love what it did for the building & shrubbery.

    I'm not a huge fan of the glow around the building, but other than that, I think it looks really nice!

    The halo is driving me NUTS! Gave up on trying to do it in photoshop LOL. I am going to download photomatrix this week
