If anyone has any tips for getting 7 month old twins to BOTH smile, please feel free to let me know!!! Needless to say, there were a TON of out-takes! I really wanted to put them in the Santa bags, I saw it on Flickr, but one would dive off the front, the other would fall into the tree... It was very humurous. Anyway, we will try again tomorrow night.
Both of these are SOOC. These are some of my first pics with the new camera, so it's just on "auto". I need TONS of help, so any and all comment are welcome!

I would like to not to have to use the flash, but the only time I will get a chance to do more is night time. Any suggestions?
hehe cute, honestly I'd probably overlay two takes and then mask down the twin that isn't looking to a take where they were
no suggestions for the flash, you'll need a speedlight so you can bounce without getting the flashy look
maybe give them those big ornaments to play with? I'd also probably do a portrait view get more of the tree.
great start![]()

I think the second pic is very nice. It could use a bit of brightening and warming in ps. I would tighten the crop but I don't see why it isn't usable. I don't think that you can expect much more out of 7 month old twins.
I like the second picture ... and I second the idea of letting them play with the ornaments. Jack LOVED the ornament when we did ours.
Thanks ladies! I will give it another try tonight and let them play with the ornamets and try to get some portrait ones also. The pics I took of them in the bags, Brooke was eating the ornamet! She had glitter ALL over her face. It was pretty cute!
