Would appreciate some CC on these images. I struggled during this session with my lighting hence the crazy ISO and SS in #3 and 4. WB was set with my grey card (yay new purchase Smile ), all shot with my 28-75mm tamron and sharpened for web.

i think looking at it now her eyes may be overdone in #3

1.ISO 400, F/2.8, 1/100

2.. ISO 400, f/2.8, ss1/100

3.ISO 1000, f/5.0, ss 1/25

4.settings same as #3:

What a doll! #4 is perfect! I bet mom and dad LOVED that one! #3 looks over sharpened to me thru the whole image. Really like the comp in #1. Did you make the tutu yourself? Very cute props in that one, simple and not taking away from the subject.

I LOVE LOVE #4 and agree with Mandie's cc. But on #1 I personally would have zoomed out just slightly to include the last little bit of her tutu that's cut off. But the lighting in #1 looks awesome too.

I agree about pp on #3 ... just too sharp over all. I love #4 ... despite the high iso, it looks FAB! I like #1 a lot, but the slight tilt is bothering me just a touch. #2 is another sweet catch. I'm sure mom and dad will go nuts for these. Smile

Best,

I agree about them looking oversharpened. I actually don't even sharpen for web anymore. If I do, I'll sharpen for prints.

#1 and #4 are great! Lovely color and exposure. #2 and #4 have off color...looks too yellow to me and like there is too much contrast. I'm also not wild about the shadow in #2. #3 has blown spots on the shirt...be careful about that. Looks like parts of the skin may be blown or close to blown too.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll pull back on the sharpening for #3 and check the colours for #2 as well before i show mom Smile

Shutter was way too slow on #4, I see blur.

What were you using for light? Natural?
