His skin tone looks great, but I feel it might need a bit more oooomph somehow. Maybe a touch more contrast or a bit more saturation overall?

I think it looks pretty good! I think he's a bit paler than you usually edit him.

Okay, what about this one? I calibrated the new monitor with Spyder2Express, but I read something about it not being able to read LCD Backlight, so I'm wondering if it really is calibrated or not. Guess I need to send out for some test prints.

What color is that back wall in real life? It looks greenish beige here.
The skin color looks very good.

It's definitely not a bright green. We have a brighter green in our bathroom, and I guess this one has a more beige tint to it when I compare the two. I think it's close to the same color here as it is in real life.

I'd say that if that wall is greenish in real life, then you're good to go.
