    Default color correction cc please

Ok.. so I read through tutorials (coolmama? sorry.. I'm bad with names still) and tried it on two images from the wedding. I did "alien boy" and another one with a lot of white in it. Let me know what you think.. does the one with all the white look any better? Can you notice a difference? is it worth going back and doing ALL of them? (yikes). Thanks ladies, I have really been learning a lot lately and I appreciate it!

After color correction using a 50% gray layer and then levels (then 75% opacity to retain "some" of the blue effect from the lights)

Bride & son - "after" color correction & then a warming layer at 25% opacity

I like the subtle difference in the first shot. By removing a bit of the blue, you made him stand out a bit more, almost like brightening, but without loss of detail.

On the mom & bride shot, I'm not digging the results. He looks too cool now. I like that her dress looks more white, but maybe you need to mask him back in b/c he just doesn't look right to me.

I am LOVING the shots from the wedding! Hope to see more before you're all done w/ it.

    Best,

Ugh.. thanks.. that's why color frustrates me so much. I think it looks "cooler" now too even though now I notice "pink" in the original edit... I lost a whole day of editing just trying to play with this color correction and now I'm scared to do too much and have to go back and fix them all. I need to get over that because I don't think THEY will notice if their pictures are too cool or too warm or have a hint of magenta.. it's just bugging ME now!

Ok.. what about this one? Does the color correction make it look too cool? Even with a slight warming layer? I do like how her skin and dress look more "real" but like the warmness in the other one... SO hard!

it WORKS on that last one. They don't look cool at all to me, but the absence of the yellow really works.

It's a lot of work, but you ARE getting it (imho)!

I definitely notice the improvement in the newest pair of pics. The yellow cast is gone and the dress & veil look crisper.

I notice the VERY slight pop you achieved with the "disco" pic, which is good, just barely noticeable...but in the edited version I think I'm seeing his face as more green now, even though it's brighter.

In the very first pair of pics I notice the skin becomes less red in the edit, but I don't notice a change in the dress really.
