Default COTW - Home (ends 09/12)

Congrats to Sadie (sadieruth) for winning the Playtime COTW! As winner, Sadie gets to select our next topic and she has chosen "Home" for our assignment.

"Home is where you hang your heart, make your mark, and grow your dreams."

What best says 'home' to you? Is it that special place in your house where you snuggle up with your kids? Is it the town in which you have lived most of your life? Is home safely in your SO's arms? There are so many people, places, things that can spell 'home' to us. Take some time for this challenge to share them with us here.

    Best,
    GiGi

I really do not know what to do for this one, but I will put this one in. It's not great art, but I liked the sun streaming in through the window, and this room is a focal point of our lives... it's where I play play-dough with my kids, and colour with them, and where we eat together, and do puzzles together... a lot of wonderful moments happen at this table -- and looking out that window too, as my kids love watching out the window at the planes (we live right by a small airport).

Tracy- that's what i mean by the title home. Take a photo of what bring joy to your lives in your home, or what means home to you.

Very nice Tracy! I know exactly what I'd like to photograph for this topic but no idea how. We live in a Valley. To enter there is a massive hill. Everytime I get to the top of that hill and the valley suddenly appears in front of me I know I'm coming home. Problem is, that spot is in the middle of a very busy road! I'll have to come up with something different

the part of our home where I feel most at home (Logan too, for that matter) is perusing the bookshelves in our computer/den area. For Logan it's about finding something new and fun (or maybe old and familiar) to read. I feel the same, but it's also the bright colors, the stair-stepped arrangement. And the little knick knacks lining the shelves.

I love to be in this room. Especially if Logan is here with me.

I realize mine is a bit diff, but home to me is where my kids can be kids. They can run around barefoot and swing on tire swings.
