Congrats to Amy (Amy_&_Eva) for winning the Transitions COTW! As winner, Amy gets to select our next topic and she has chosen "On the Street" for our assignment.
Here is a chance for all of us to stretch and try something different. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with for this fun challenge!
Best,
GiGi
This will be a struggle for me b/c we don't live near "streets!" Hehe. I will have to get out and shoot in the urban areas for sure!
those 'streets' don't have to be paved, Sadie! use what ya got!
GiGi
It will just push me to do better. I have a senior photo shoot coming up, so maybe I can work with that! If not, dirt road I will settle for!
This is not QUITE what I had in mind, but it's all I have for now. Will use it as a place holder in case I don't get to try the other.
GiGi
I just posted something but am removing it temporarily, as I'm not sure of the scope of this. When you said it doesn't have to be a paved road, GiGi, I just immediately thought of the country roads I'm surrounded by! But is it still meant to be more street photography in the sense of people/action on whatever streets/roads you can find? Or can it be just a street/road, period?

It's completely up to you, Tracy! I didn't have street photography in mind when I started out. I think you should go ahead and post it! Don't leave me here all alone.

VERY COOL SHOT, Tracy! It really evokes a strong emotion (awe, in my case)!
TFS,
GiGi
does it have to be a picture we took this week? Or can it be something we've taken at another time? I have something I'd like to post up for this I just have to find a photo hosting site.
