I hate everything I do. UGH! I've been back and forth with these photos and I just need someone to have a look at the processing and tell me honestly what you think.
No need to comment on each one, generalities are fine. However, if there are any specific images that stand out as totally off please let me know.

Baby K 9 Month - a set on Flickr
Quite honestly, Amber, I think this set looks great! Nice clean edits, vibrant colors that look perfectly natural (not over saturated).
The only comments I had when looking had nothing to do w/ processing. Dad looks stiff on the shots when he's looking right at the camera. I love the more natural shots of him when he is interacting w/ his boy. There is one photo - 7937 - with a dark area behind one of the blocks that I find mildly distracting.
The only hesitation I have in making this blanket statement is that I am on work on a notoriously uncalibrated monitor. Hopefully someone who is calibrated will chime in w/ anything they see in the color.
But honestly, I can tell you that the proud parents are going to be very happy with these!
TFS, I always love seeing your work.
Thanks so much the feedback GiGi. I've been really worried about these being too bright, or just too much in general. Glad they're looking okay on your screen. It's valuable knowing what an uncalibrated monitor is seeing because the clients will be viewing on an uncalibrated monitor.
Yes, I know this about this Dad. He has a hard time relaxing for the camera. I didn't do my job getting him looking more natural. It's not excusable, but I was almost completely focused on getting baby to look at me in the family shots. Doing that and getting the Dad to look natural feels like an impossibility. I probably should have worked on doing both at different times so I could at least have a composite. I need to watch a pro in action doing this.
Thanks for the note about #7937. I noticed it too. It's a trash can. (GRRRRR) And I was able to shoot around it for most of our time in the grass, but I missed it in this shot. Luckily the shot isn't an essential....just a cute bonus. If it were a better shot I'd spend the tons of time needed to clone it out. As it is, the shot isn't worth it.
I agree with GiGi, these are great. I'm also uncalibrated, as you know; some of them seem a touch yellow, but most of mine seem too yellow and when I check ratios (now that I'm trying to get things right), they're usually fine too.
My favourite is 7508 for the happy, natural baby look. I also love 7699, with the composition, the chair, the totally typical baby thing of reaching for a favourite toy.
On 7888 and 7983, I wish there were a touch more foreground so as not to have the hands chopped off.
The dad does look very stiff, but 7323 is great, and it's nice to see a natural smile on him in 7562, even if baby's expression isn't ideal.
7631 is very sweet of the little feet, and the angle of the chair is compositionally so nice, drawing the eye right in to that corner closest to the camera, then automatically up to the feet.

These are so awesome! Love seeing your work.
I agree with what has been CC'ed. I am on uncalibrated monitor at work and they don't look at all that bright.
Totally agree about the Dad being too stiff in some photos.
Also to note, I dunno if you want to tone down her tan lines on her shoulder. It is very noticeable on 7181, 7194, & 7376. Slightly on 7543.
I would probably also clone out that one long weed on image 7893, 7888

Just chug-chug-chugging along.
7500, 7508, and 7509- I am very distracted by the background because I feel like the background is very bright and draws my eyes to it instead of the adorable little boy.
Really love all the photos! I am jealous of your ability
Yes, I actually posted the wrong version of those. I had darkened up those backgrounds up quite a bit. I just forgot to make WEB versions after I did so to the printables. Good eye! Here are the proper versions. Are these better?
