This is what we saw all day from Jackson: Stuffing his face with candy.

And some "proper" photos of the boys that I took before Easter. And good thing I did, too. They pretty much destroyed their outfits with stains

Amber your boys are waay too cute! I can't believe Nathan is so big now. He must be tall for his age. And James is TOO adorable!

Statechick - your girls are too cute. Love how they are all hurdled together eating sweets!

Stephanie - I like the matching outfits! I try and do that with my kiddos too but DH get's mad - lol. And holy COW on that chocolate bunny!

The boys love to match each other. Today, they had to wear the same Mickey Mouse shirts that they have. DH surprisingly doesn't care. Now if I tried to get us all matching shirts...that would be another story

Katie - how do you make the silk tie eggs?

Gigi - egg day sounds fun and I love your theme.

Amber - your pics have me missing summer already

Statechick - I love the dress!

Steph - your boys are as cute as ever. That bunny is almost as big as Jackson's head.

I haven't uploaded easter pics yet because we've been busy. Why? This Easter we got..........

El - we did do our eggs from scratch (well ... I did buy a dye kit, but the actual decorations were just a combination of googly eyes, felt, card stock and whatever else we could find around the house to make them look as much like the video game as possible.

Amber ... I love seeing your boys together. I hope James is getting used to his brace.

Candace ... love seeing your girls and their cousins - reminds me of my group of girl cousins growing up! I hope they have many more memories like this to carry them through life! TFS!

Stephanie ... love that you got a family photo! I am lucky to get one a year. And Jackson is just too cute w/ those bunny ears! I love seeing your boys - they seem so full of life - it must be contagious!

Gemma ... your pup is SO ADORABLE! And your nephew too - how can you handle all that cute at once?!

Thanks Tracy ... the eggs were not nearly as hard as I expected them to be. Just have fun!

    Best,
    GiGi

If you google silk tie eggs there are lots of tutorials. Basically, you cut up 100% silk ties (I bought some a GoodWill for $1-2 each) and wrap an unboiled egg in it with the print side down. Then you wrap cotton around it (I used an old white t-shirt) and boil the eggs in water with 1/4 cup vinegar for 20-30 minutes. WHen I did them last year, I wrapped them with string to help push the fabric against and egg and it definitely worked better than this year not using string.

Katie- loving the fish photo and I adore the idea of dump trucks as their basket! My friend did the silk tie dyed eggs too. They were cute!
GiGi- I am SURE those will be on Pinterest before too long! SOOOOO CUTE!
Amber- holy cow James is growing! Glad he got his cast off! Keep us posted ok?
Candace- Love the cousins pic. I wish I would have thought to get all our little cousins together on Easter.
Gemma- I got a new nephew too! What a blessing!
Stephanie- loving the family photo. I tried, but it was a FLOP!

Oh, I want to join. I'm a little late because I've been working a lot this week, blah. Mine are just snaps too, but that's okay.

    My babies

This one has a story.. My speedlite failed to fire and so my picture was almost all black, but it was the only picture like this where he was even remotely looking at me and all that. So I played with it in lightroom to see what I could retrieve from it. It came out all grainy, but I thought it was still cute. It looks like I did some weird processing with it or something, haha.

The IL's got him some big bubbles in his easter basket:

He got a little carried away with his Easter meal. And you can barely see it in this pictures, but he's wearing mardi gras beads. He found them and loved playing with them so much, he wouldn't take them off, LOL.

One that my DH took of me and DS1:

One of DH and the little man. If only he had been looking at me!
