Thread: edited roof top pic

I'm very new to editing in lightroom so I have a ton to learn. I used a graduated filter for the sky to darken it and the spot remover tool for the sun flare on the roof. Any better?

I think you could go even further with your edit. I find the spot remove tool in LR very hard to use. I can see where you fixed the sun spots on the roof. Does GIMP have a spot remove or the clone tool? I'm thinking that might work better.

I did an edit of it, if you don't mind. I lowered the exposure some, added darks and shadows, removed some of the distracting trees, and removed the sun spots.

I don't mind at all! Love how she is more of a silhouette now. I have never used gimp but I will look into it and give it a try. Thanks!
