Default Editing non-perfect shots (play anyone)

Went to orchard this past weekend. Didn't do so well, sigh. These are probably mommy goggle shots but if you have any cc I'd love to hear them.

Mostly I'm still learning how to probably edit photos. Would anyone like to choose one of the following and take a play? I'd love to see what (if anything) can be salvaged and also learn editing techniques

    ALL - f/3.2 iso100 1/250 35mm
they were taken RAW, I did no editing at all, just saved so I could upload them

    1) underexposed

    2)

    3) argh dealing with bright sky

    thanks so much

#2 is just so sweet! Nothing wrong with that shot at all, I love it! Wish I had time to process for you....but I'd start with a quick bump to the midtones in curves, and then add magenta and red, maybe a touch of blue...the photo is a bit too green and yellow. A lot of that might be color cast from all the green around him. You can punch up the color with a low opacity overlay layer.

Okay, I lied...here's an edit. I did what I said above, except I added some red saturation to the apples and a slight vignette and a tiny bit of overall saturation.

I agree. #2 is just precious. #3 is nice too but I wish the person in black was not in the background.

I understand, I wish 3 came out nicer, that's dh so at least in terms of my eyes it isn't that distracting but I do wish I had a nice one with just Evan

I think they look alright. Alot of my SOOC are like that too! All photos can be enhanced with photoshop. #2 is very sweet!

mmmmmmmmmmmm .... apples! if I didn't have a ton of photos already open in Elements that I'm working on, I'd take a stab. but I like what Amber did. that's a cute picture!

Your images will look 'off' if you shoot in RAW and don't process them. JPG's will look nicer SOOC because they are somewhat processed IN camera.

#3 - next time, squat down or lay down to get the shot

    Keep on practicing!
