Anyone doing the Elf on the Shelf? I thought we could share our Elf photos here if anyone was interested.
This is our Elf, Sock. Carson named him last year. I guess that's what you get when you let a 3 year old name something... Anyway, he showed up in our Christmas tree yesterday.
And today, he went fishing in Carson's fish bowl.
If you click on my name in my siggy, you can see the blog posts with the kids' reactions. Carson LOVES his Elf. He's been teaching him things for the past 2 days now
Haven't heard of it, but he's adorable and I love the photos! Sounds like a fun idea!

There are cute! We have an elf that I had when I was a child. I should let him go adventuring this weekend!

I've never heard of the idea, but it is a wonderful one. We have lots of little elves (similar to that one) that I got from my grandparents, might take one on an adventure.

It's not too late Sadie We didn't start until the 18th last year.
For those of you who don't know about the Elf on the Shelf, basically, you adopt an Elf, or Santa sends one to your house. The Elf gets his or her magic when you give them a name. Then they sit and watch all day, and at night, they fly back to Santa to report if you've been good or bad. Then they come back to your house by morning and take a different spot. But you can't touch the Elf! They will loose their magic, and won't be able to fly back to Santa to tell him if you've been good!
