Thread: facebook fan page?

I was just wondering how I go about creating one? I can't really figure it out. I think I made a page but I'm not too sure if I even chose the right one. I figured it was about time I get one so that I can have some separation between my family snap shots and photos from a mini shoot or something even if it is of my own family. Kwim? My own FB profile is getting so full of pictures. If anyone knows I'd appreciate it. thanks!

Mine too, now that you mention it...most of my photos in the past 2+ months are "photography" type photos, rather than family photos :/ ! 2 friends of mine from the Junebuds (June 07) board do non-pro portrait photography and both have separate FB pages for it. I could ask them.

that would be great so far the page I made looks good, except it doesn't post the photos I've recently uploaded.

So far it looks ok.

I'm just wondering why the photos aren't posted to the wall automatically. Whenever I upload a picture it takes me back to my own Facebook home page. It's annoying but I'll live I just wanted a place to display my photos without mixing them with regular snaps on my own personal page. So its all good.

I fanned you! It looks good! If you are still having trouble with the photos thing I'll ask my friends who have those pages. So how did you get your pics to be on there then?

The page is public, right? That's a good way to get more noticed then I guess. I should maybe do that with my nature photographs....besides the fact they're taking up my whole FB album heheh

The page is great actually. Having a little trouble with the wall thing but I'm getting used to it now so it's ok. You upload pictures the same way actually. It's pretty cool. And yes it's public which is ok by me. Actually you have the option to block countries that you don't want viewing your pictures by giving the countries of your choice permission to view. I think I'm going to create another page for my miniatures later on. I have tons of those pics in my own profile as well. It's nice to separate them a bit. I love pictures so I go nuts uploading sometimes. lol

Cool! My other question (after testing it out by going as far as "create a page") is, what category did you use? Local business? I wish they had a type leaning toward hobby....
