We had such great participation for our January assignment and I cannot thank you guys enough for jumping in like you did! Hopefully we can keep that up as the year rolls along.
With that in mind, I am going to revisit some topics we have done before - both as a review for those of us who have been around a while and as an introduction for some of our newest board members. And once we have reviewed some of the basics, we will branch out into some new challenges.
SO ... our topic for February will be using the Rule of Thirds to compose our images.
This is a composition guideline that many find pleasing in photography. The idea is to divide your photo into thirds both horizontally and vertically. This creates a grid. And ideally, your subject should fall along these lines.
