Just tried a couple of things for practicing "filling the frame". Not sure if this is the right idea?
I really love the coffee cup shots, they're pretty!!!! I wish the white parts weren't SO bright in #1 though.
I agree with Amy, but yes, you've got the right idea for "filling the frame" !!
Oh, and I love the concentration of your dd...too cute!
OK, great, thanks. The white in #1 is an over-correction on my part. SOOC it wasn't so bright. I'm not that great at editing yet, so I will play with that one again.
Great job for asking CC.
#1 - I am not too keen on the tilt on this one. Makes it look like the coffee is going to spill out of the frame.
#2 - I like this better. It would have been cool if you had captured the smoke coming out of the coffee
#3 - is great. Her skin looks yellow to me.
I like #1 the best. Actually, I think the angle is cool. I also like #3, but I wish I could see what she's drawing (although that would be hard with a fill-the-frame assignment).
OK, I modified #1 a little bit:
Definitely better, I think? I lost detail in the handle before, over-brightening it.
I love the coffee cup as your subject. the tilt is a bit much though, only because it seems like it will pour out of the cup at any second. but definitely is filling the frame which is good.
I don't have much to add except that it seems to me like you have this assignment down pat already! Really love the coffee cup shots.
I'm a fan of the tilt in your coffee cup picture. It adds an extra bit of drama to the shot.
