Thread: Finally going to order books!

It's about time too! I should have a long time ago but about a couple weeks ago I discovered a website that I can order books from and it's free shipping. yay! It took like 6 months for other books I ordered from the local bookstore to get in and I really don't want to wait that long. (only because they are in english and english books are harder to get in ) I am looking at 3 Bryan Peterson books. The first one of course is understanding exposure. Will that one really help me out? How about learning to see creatively? I know I could use that. And then there is one called Beyond Portraiture. It sounds interesting but I'm not so sure. Which one would you go for first? DH said I can order all 3 if i want to. Just not sure. I want to learn as much as I can by myself of course. I'm ordering these tomorrow sometime hopefully. I'm so glad I don't have to worry about crazy shipping costs. That was the only thing ever holding me back.

Absolutely, I got mine a while back but only started reading it a couple of months ago and I can definitley see the difference in my photos. I also understand my camera better and the maths behind it too. You wont regret buying it!

The other two I am also planning on getting as soon as I get a new job so if you get them you'll have to tell me what they are like!

thanks i will definitely get it then if it will help me. I'll be ordering here in a couple hours. Might as well get all of them since I do want to pursue photography as my career. I'd still love to assist a photographer around here though to get a better idea of how it is done here. Like...where they get their stuff printed because I'm sure they don't go through the print shops in the mall. I know whcc is worldwide though. Anyway rambling...

I'm excited too b/c I just ordered Understanding Exposure from a local library. Who knows when it will be in, but I am looking forward to checking it out! You'll have to let us know about the other two!

yes! i ordered all 3 as well as 3 other ones (nothing to do with photography). I figured I'll be ordering them eventually might as well have them all now. can't wait to read them all!! I won't know where to start!
