It finally happened!

I got a DSLR!!!

Last night DH went out to buy a bike off Craigslist for DD, and I thought, to visit his brother. Turns out he was making another Craigslist purchase... a secondhand Canon D60! I'm so excited! I've been borrowing a friend's old Nikon D40 for a while, but it's damaged and has limitations as a result... and besides, this one is MINE!!! :) It has a kit 18-135mm lens, and it'll probably be a while before we can get anything else, but it's an awesome start!

Thanks so much everyone! I'm having a great time! Even last night when we had MIL's birthday party here, I was using it with the speedlite and found everything about taking decent indoors pictures so much easier! I have a lot to learn as the controls are different and there's much to get used to, but I'm having a blast!
