Default First beach "set" for CC

These are some friends of mine, but I just wanted some CC on them from you pros. I'm really striving to learn everything that I can, so give it to me! (ISO was set at 200 for all of these)

    f4 1/60
    1

    f2.8 1/80
Is the blur too much here?

These look great, just watch your shutter speed its a little low especialy on 1. I like the effect your going with the blur but i would lighten it up a bit especially over her pants, try masking it a bit.

These are so sweet. The faux blur in #2 is kinda cool, but not really my thing- but it's definitely fun looking!!! I wanted to mention that your SS and ap combo are a recipe for blur (aka out of focus). I understand the light may have been low and maybe that's why you did that... next time try bumping up your ISO instead of dropping your SS so low.. ISO- 400 would make a big difference from 200. What a cute family!

That's so cool that you took these for a friend. I'm doing a family session for a friend soon, so I love seeing others.

Just a couple of comments - the way the fence wire is running through the dad's hair is disconcerting. It's like it's coming out of his ears. My eyes jumped right to that. I'm also not a fan of the blur, I think it's too much on the second one. Love the first one with the family name between them - very cool!

Ahhh, I didn't even see the fence coming out of his ears, and now I TOTALLY see it! So I need to bump my SS and ISO, and watch my lines.. thanks ladies!!

They look good.. My only complaint is that it looks like you are over sharpening a little.

I like the blur. I think that they look good. I was going to mention the oversharpening though. There is something funny going on with his striped shirt in most of them. I don't know if it is from the sharpening or what.
