Flash Back Friday!

Happy Friday everyone! I don't know about the rest of you, but things have been down right CRAZY around here lately.

This is the start of the busiest time of the year for me, so I haven't been able to do much more than lurk as of late, but I have simply LOVED seeing all you guys have had to post. I hope to see a lot more over the next few months. It keeps me going. Biggrin

Anyway .... I thought I'd get this kicked off for this week. Let's see your shots, your snaps, and anything you might want to share this week!

Best,
GiGi

Despite being super busy, I *have* been trying to knock the dust off my camera from time to time.

Logan has been working out with Carlos and I off and on as of late. His favorite exercise is "box jumps." Carlos and I do our jumps at the lowest level (20"). Logan likes to jump at the highest level (30")! Little show off. Biggrin So here is one of him jumping. This is only at 24" but I was too tired to mess with the box height (I had just finished my workout).

Logan also had his spring orchestra concert last night. I managed a few pics there:

Here's my favorite from Logan's end of the season soccer tournament:

And because this is a "flash back" thread - I stumbled on these of my baby ... when he WAS more of a baby:

These both warm and break my heart. Just look at those CHEEKS! Where did my baby go?

What's a mom to do?

It know it's a lot. Thanks for letting me share.

Take care everyone!

As usual, mornings are my best time so I'll jump on the thread first!

DH gave me a 50mm f/1.4 lens for Mother's Day! It was sure fun playing with it, though I haven't had a chance to do any 'real' portrait type shots with it yet.

My favourite shot of the week was taken with the 50mm f/1.8 I was borrowing from my brother, as I hadn't received the new lens yet. Nora showing me the Mother's Day gift she made in kindergarten:

We participated in a Run for Mom on Mother's Day... the kids did a 1K "run" with us and even got official entry numbers. Though Nora's kept blowing in the wind so you can't see it:

After the run:

Took Micah and the new lens down to the river for some fun:

GiGi, we were posting at the same time... I LOVE those shots! That first one is so cool, and the concert shot is just beautiful. I saw that on FB and thought it was fantastic. And wow, look at those cheeks when he was little. I know, it's amazing how they grow. We've been watching some videos of our kids when we first moved into this house three years ago, and Nora looks so chubby (even though she's always been 8-10th percentile for weight!) with her round face. It's sad to think how fast the years go by!

Awesome shots, both of you! Nora's hair looks SO cute in that first shot, Tracy. And I love the shots at the river, all of them.

I planned on uploading my most recent pics today at work, but accidentally took my camera back home (it was hiding in my big bag that I keep my bills in) and didn't realize it till I got back to work. Sad

OMG Gigi Logan is such a big boy now compared to his baby pictures!!! I love, love the orchestra picture. I wish I can play the viola - it was my long time dream one of my favorite instrument.

Tracy - 1k run, wow Nora and Micah must have enjoyed that so cool, love their rain coat! That dandelion in a sea of buttercups is great - bokeh is oh so fantastic!

Here are some I took last weekend. Love using the wide angle lens!

Ruthie isn't too interested in riding without training wheels? Carson either. I tried taking them off, but had to put them back on because he refused to ride without them. Sad He has lots of friends riding now, but it doesn't seem to matter to him.

Nora either. I have talked to her about it several times recently and she just doesn't want to, even though all of her friends pretty much ride without them now.

I love that "Roar" pic, Steph!

Sadie, your kids always look like they have so much fun. You must have a huge dress-up box somewhere, BTW! My kids don't have many dress-up clothes... they would love that!

That roar pic is about all I can get out of Carson these days lol!!!

Mine don't have a ton if dress up clothes either. I should have more for them. Carson likes to dress up. Jackson...not so much. Occasionally he will put on a hat, but he's not one for costumes. He was not happy on Halloween Wink
