Just some cute ones of the kids loving on eachother. Melts my heart!

OMG, they're both looking at the camera at the same time! Mommy goggles!

I took a lot of Easter pictures, but here are my favorites

Steph those are so cute!! And you did great outdoors with the natural light too, nice open shade, beautiful catchlights, yay!

Here's a couple from this week. I had a very large family shoot over the weekend (parents and their 6 adopted children, super awesome family) that I'm editing now, and an amazingly awesome newborn on Wednesday. I don't have much on Flickr right now though.

Two of the sisters...the youngest here, her cancer just came back out of remission. Sad They wanted family photos before her hair falls out again. Sad I think I'm going to start donating sessions to families in similar situations regularly (I did not charge them, of course). These two are particularly close.
Lindsay and Juliana

Newborn girl from Wednesday. She's in her mama's belly-cast here, and her mama's baby blanket! *sigh*
Baby Gianna

And my siggy I took last night. Smile

Stephanie, wow, good for you getting one with them both looking at the camera at the same time! I have a HARD time with that, and my youngest is older than yours! Love that! The Easter pictures are sweet too, but the sweet kisses ones are the BEST! I got a couple of those this week too. Smile

Here's mine for this week:

Just loving this one of my DS's eyes and eyelashes. Please forgive the yellow wall on the left. Sad Astonishingly, I got this at SS 1/60 -- I knew it was a long shot to get it sharp at that SS but he seemed in a willing mood so I had to go with it.

I know she's eating and all, but I like that this one shows a bit of a smile in her eyes. (She asked me to take it after I'd taken the above shot of her brother at the table.)

My favourite of the week:

That shot was taken at this location, and it's a very fast/dangerous part of the river so I couldn't let go of my kids for more than a second, but I want to go back alone sometime and try to get some good shots of the rapids:

Just some tomatoes that looked so yummy. Tried making the chair a bit of a "frame" for them.

(Sorry again some of them seem a bit over-sharpened. I can't seem to resize and get properly sharp again... Not sure why. :()

Meagan, oh, that sister picture is beautiful, but so sad about the youngest one. Sad I'm sure those photos will mean the world to that family.

The newborn with the belly cast -- exquisite! And your siggy picture! Love it!

Steph - Love those boys! They are soooo cute! I really like the one of Jackson!! Great shot!! And the kisses are too cute!

Meagan - That is so sad about the little girl! Sad But what a sweet shot! And that baby! Oh my goodness!! That is just amazing!!!!

Tracy - Love your little boy's big blue eyes!! Nice shots!!

Okay, here are a few of mine. I took some photos of one of my old HS friend's new little girl (3 weeks old!) yesterday! If you read my post on the dirty sensor, it miraculously was gone when I got my camera out at the house! Lol Anyhow, this is my very first time ever taking pics of a newborn (didn't have my DSLR when DS was a newbie last year!)! And it's the first non-family/super close friend! I need, like, mountains of experience, obviously! I had all my technical aspects figured out in my head before I got there (angle, lighting, etc.), and that went all out the window when she cried for the first hour and finally fell asleep! I didn't dare move her, so I shot as is. Lighting was totally off, but oh well! Smile We all gotta start somewhere, right?

Stephanie...beautiful! You're doing well with the natural light outdoors.

Meagan...I love the first two so much. So wonderful of you to volunteer your time like that.

Jen, what a cute baby! You did pretty well for your first newborn session.

Here are a few shots from my photo walk with Nathan a few days ago.

My six friends and I from college have been getting together once a year every spring for the past 13 years. It's a special weekend for all of us. Last weekend was our weekend for this year - we spent part of it in Jim Thorpe, PA, a quaint, historical town. Here's a few from that weekend:

Need I say more?

Old fashioned railroad cars

My friend Lyssa

My other friend Lynn

Thanks for the compliments ladies, I really appreciate it! I thought I would share the good news that after only 2 chemo treatments that little girl's tumor has already shrunk dramatically in size. YAY!

I am REALLY far behind and haven't posted much at all here in the past 2 weeks Sad I haven't even posted under LAST week's TGIF thread Sad

Love all the pics! I agree Jen that you did great for your first newborn. I love #3 especially. But I feel bad for such a new baby crying for an hour until falling asleep Sad was she hungry?

Oh no! She didn't cry for the full hour! She had nursed right when I got there, but she just wouldn't fall asleep. She was okay in mom's arms, but she would fuss if we moved her anywhere else! So a lot of my early shots are of mom holding her. Wink She nursed again about 40 minutes into it, and then fell asleep! So, yeah, she wasn't freaking out for a full 60 minutes! Just didn't like being laid down until she nursed a second time. Smile Then we were good to go! Are we going to see some of your recent, work?? Smile

Oh that's good, I figured/hoped you probably meant that but just didn't elaborate Smile

Yes I hope to post some of last week's today. I just finished up a big bunch from last Wednesday so I'll post some of those. Now I have to start working on Saturday & Sunday's shots! I've never been this far behind with pics LOL. I can just imagine once spring is in full swing, and SUMMER omg I go nuts when the garden is buzzing! Smile

PIC HEAVY!

OK I am F-I-N-A-L-L-Y posting some pics from the past 2 weeks. Sheesh I'd never been that behind before lol. I filled up 20+ Flickr pages with new downloads in the past 2 weeks. I'm caught up with editing those now, but have some still in my camera I need to do now.

Here are some of my faves from the past 2-3 weeks; the rest are at Flickr...and most of you have seen them (hopefully) at Facebook already. I would love it if you comment there or Flickr too!

I got an inexpensive 70-300mm lens 2 weeks ago so I've been having fun getting used to that too.
