My favorite thread!

We went for a walk on the bike trail this week, and saw a doe and her fawn running away from us.

I'm going a bit of a different way with my processing. I think I like it better. (Please excuse the weird look. That's the look I'm getting 95% of the time these days.)

And one from a maternity shoot I did for a friend that I never got around to sharing. I'm not sure if this one works or not. I kind of wish I would have stood up a bit and shot down on her instead of straight on.

Love the deer photos, Stephanie! And I like the maternity shot too. I think this straight on composition would work also with her looking down at her belly, maybe hands resting on the baby bump.

GiGi what a handsome boy! 4th grade already?? my goodness, time flies
I havent picked up my camera much, i have gotten to that point in pregnancy that i don't feel like doing much, but hopefully she will be out soon

i did take some photos of my little man's first day of junior preschool though, so i have that to share lol

Second day, trying out new editing technique

And my 3 yo is completely obsessed with cellos (all instruments really, but i guess cellos hold a special place in his heart, super weird). Being that he is only 3 we aren't getting him a cello so he turns everything into them... sometimes even just 2 sticks are enough

I love that he loves cellos! You'll have to start him in lessons as soon as you can!

What a fun breakfast for his first day of school! I'll have Carson's first day of school photos next Friday *sob*

Wow, GiGi, Logan's getting so handsome! Love it, and what a sweet mom you are doing a "4" waffle for him!

Sophie, your shots are beautiful. I love the second one so much! And the cello thing... that's so awesome!!

My funniest one of the week, I think! (I turned it into a birthday card... made me laugh.)

This is from our trip to the beach last weekend. It probably doesn't work for anyone but me, but I kind of like it as something a little different -- plus his expression makes me laugh, as he's trying to figure out what the seaweed is.
